Three round-trips between Manchester and Amsterdam were also cancelled. An easyJet spokesperson explained, "Due to adverse weather conditions and air-traffic control restrictions, all airlines have been asked to reduce their flying program to and from Amsterdam today. We apologize for the inconvenience and are doing our best to support customers with refunds, free flight transfers, and hotel accommodations where possible."

British Airways cancelled return flights from Heathrow and London City to Amsterdam, and many other European airlines followed suit, cancelling flights from their main hubs to Amsterdam. Air France, Austrian Airlines, Finnair, Lufthansa, SAS, and Swiss were among those affected.
